The man with a steady mind is
strong in his objective. But without affection towards it. He does not
experience happiness when good things happen to him and does not experience
aversion when bad things happen. Akin to
a tortoise that can instantaneously withdraw its limbs from all the sides, the
man with the ability to withdraw his emotions from his objective will be able
to hold to his steady mind. An abstinent person who can hold his senses and
emotions, does not have worldly experiences (vile and guile). Only passion left
within him is for the ultimate knowledge. After achieving that knowledge, all
his desires perish.

How do you know when to trust people and when not to trust them?
How do you know when to trust people and
when not to trust them?
You must always think before you trust others.
It is said that you can always trust people but not the animal that hides inside
them.
Robert J. Aumann, who was awarded Nobel Prize
in Economic Sciences, argues that repeated interaction enables cooperation. In
a repeated interaction game, strategic equilibrium expresses phenomenon such as
altruism, cooperation, trust, loyalty, revenge, threats and so. on.
Therefore, the steps are
1. Is
it a repeated interaction?
a. No
– Do not trust them
b. Yes
i.
Have you injured them in the past? Or Have they
betrayed your confidence in the past?
1. Yes
for either of the question - do not trust them
2. No
– Is their quality of nature trust worthy?
a. No
or maybe – Do not trust them
b. Yes
– They deserve your trust
Caution: Even when there is no doubt and
they are people who deserve your trust, you must not place blind trust on them.

Is suffering an inevitable part of success?
In your path to success and achievements,
you face enormous amounts of difficulties, you struggle and suffer before
achieving success. But can one succeed without suffering?
The answer lies in our history. When we
look back, we realize that war has been a constant part of human behavior. Some
waged war for the sake of greed, while others went into it to avoid defeat and
protect themselves. The winner succeeded!
One absolute truth emerges from this human
behavior - War meant suffering for everyone including the winners.
The only ones who did not suffer were those
who were not deluded. Because only they knew that greatness is achieved by
using means to avoid the war. They knew that wars won without fighting were
their greatest achievement.
They focused on building up their strength
and resources. And succeeded because of peace. Even when they were forced into
war, they choose not to suffer. They knew that delusional suffering was optional.
Therefore, being cognizant of your emotions
in your path to success would liberate you from deluded suffering. While
hurdles and difficulties may seem inevitable in your path, suffering is
entirely optional.

What is a man’s biggest strength in this universe?
<-- One minute read -->
What is a man’s biggest strength in this universe?
Some may say weapons; others may say will
power; some others may say mind.
However, the biggest strength of a man is
true friends.
When life places you in difficult
situations, friends become your shield.
When you are caught in the net of malicious
people around you, your friends empower you, help you see through right and
wrong and rescue you with minimum damage.
When you are lonely, friends calm your mind
with consoling words.
Therefore, if you want to earn something in
this life, earn true friends. Do not forget something, the man who considers
his friendship as his biggest strength will become the strongest in this
universe.
In the climax war of the great Indian epic
Mahabharatha, both the sides assemble and face one another. Arjuna, instead of
seeing ruthless foes, sees his relatives and well-wishers. And throws away his
prime weapon – bow and arrow. He declares that he will not fight and prefers
death.
Krishna, the true friend who sees this,
declares the philosophical truth and helps Arjuna destroy the all-powerful
delusion.
